Three of the 28 top-graded abstracts being highlighted at the Annual Meeting examined the efficacy of surgical treatment of cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM), the success rate of anterior cervical decompression and fusion (ACDF), and the implications of using bone morphogenetic protein-2 in rats with spinal cord injuries.

A total of 705 abstracts were submitted to the Annual Meeting Program Committee for presentation.
